Oliver Wyman has introduced a new leadership team in Europe for its global learning business. Following the acquisition of Academee in March, Simon Hayward, CEO of Academee, has taken on a new role as head of Oliver Wyman's European learning business, which includes both Academee and the Executive Learning Center (ELC).

"Oliver Wyman offers unparalleled expertise in the area of organisational strategy, and ELC provides top-tier executive education for Global 1000 companies," says Simon.

"Academee develops learning solutions to help organisations achieve strategic goals through developing their people. We are focused on meeting the needs of international clients including RBS, InterContinental Hotels Group, AstraZeneca and Fujitsu Services."

This move supports Oliver Wyman's intention to build a market leading learning business based on strong regions in Europe, Asia Pacific and North America to meet the needs of international clients. Simon's role is focused on developing client-focused learning solutions, which combine Academee and ELC's expertise in the areas of leadership and employee engagement.

Hartmut Stuelten becomes the head of the ELC business in Europe, following a successful career at Ashridge Consulting.

The roles of other members of the existing Academee leadership team also expand to focus more on European-wide development in partnership with ELC.
