All Aboard for a Learning Journey
Academee's Clare Roberts leads major industry events
Clare Roberts, Academee's managing director, is to play a leading role at three major industry events in May.
She will chair a joint seminar session for delegates of The Human Resources Forum, The Communication Directors Forum and The Call Centre Executive Forum, all of which take place on board the Oriana, off the coast of Southampton, from 7-10 May. All three forums are invitation-only and will be attended by almost 1,000 directors and senior managers from major organisations.
The joint seminar session is entitled 'Embracing employee-led change and nurturing change champions.' Clare will welcome 200 delegates to this session and introduce the topic and the speakers, including Michelle Hey, head of customer service development at first direct. The speakers will share their experience of transforming their organisations by unleashing the power of their people. Clare will then chair a question and answer session.
Clare will also present a workshop session at The Call Centre Executive Forum, 'Enhance organisational performance through effective leadership development.' Drawing on her own experience of working on global leadership programmes with major clients, Clare will explore the link between leadership development, leaders' behaviour and organisational success.
In addition, Clare will facilitate a 'think tank' session at The Call Centre Executive Forum on 'Managing cultural change - engaging people and getting buy-in upwards and downwards.' Clare will introduce the topic, share some of her own experiences, and encourage the audience to explore ideas with each other in small groups. She will then bring together the outputs of this interactive work to draw some useful conclusions and give participants fresh concepts to act on.
As well as Clare's role in the conference sessions, Academee will also be in attendance at The Human Resources Forum to meet delegates, discover more about their organisational and learning challenges, and share Academee's experience of designing and delivering global leadership and learning programmes.
