Academee Launches in Asia-Pacific

Academee has officially launched in the Asia-Pacific region following the acquisition of ICUS, the Singapore-based learning consultancy.

Our new Singapore offices provide a gateway to Asia-Pacific, where Academee has already developed business with new and existing clients.

“Many of Academee's current clients are expanding rapidly in this region,” says Clare Roberts, managing director of Academee. “Having a major presence there means we are now better placed to support them as they grow. Singapore is a tremendously exciting place to be and an ideal location for Academee as we work with our clients on increasingly international programmes.”

ICUS is a long-standing partner of Academee's and the two organisations have worked closely together in the past. Crucially, we share the same customer-focused values and desire to create innovative blended learning programmes. This helps make the transition a smooth one, and the ICUS team has already integrated seamlessly into the wider Academee team.

“We chose to acquire ICUS because they are Singapore's leading learning specialist,” adds Clare. “They have built tremendously strong relationships with a range of major organisations including Singapore Airlines, Standard Chartered Bank and UBS, and we are now completely focused on meeting client needs and improving the performance of their people and their organisations.”

Academee, which is headquartered in the UK and has a network of European offices, has previously created successful international learning programmes for clients including InterContinental Hotels Group and Fujitsu Services. Our expansion in the Asia-Pacific region increases our ability to provide genuinely global learning solutions.
