In learning solutions such as leadership and management development, we believe in helping people to feel comfortable to feel uncomfortable. At Academee we often use business simulations with professional role players to achieve these aims. They provide a very powerful way to work with the people on their skills and behaviours, providing real life scenarios and real-time feedback for participants.
We have used this approach in various situations with great success, including leadership and management development, consultant development and change management development. Recent clients include RBS, AstraZeneca, SAP and Specsavers.
We take care to construct accurate and effective scenarios, and then use them to simulate the work environment so that participants are learning in as close a way as possible to their real work situation.
We work with experienced role players who specialize in this area, so that they have a deep understanding of business issues and Academee's learning models and approach. Working with an Academee facilitator, the role players adjust their style and feedback to the needs of each participant, so that they get a personally tailored learning experience. The results are dramatic.
