Rita is a results-focussed learning and development professional with broad training and operations experience across a range of industries including hotels, food service and retail. She has a proven track record of facilitating changes in behaviour and practices in rapidly changing environments. A strategic thinker, she is skilled in cost-effective, leading edge learning design, delivery and evaluation.
Before joining Academee, Rita spent seven years with Compass Group, the largest foodservice organisation in the UK, where she led the UK business systems training team implementing a national award-winning learning and change programme for a new IT system, and delivered the chief management development programme for the company.
Rita has the ability to offer simple yet creative solutions to complex tasks and to engage people at all levels within an organisation. She is particularly interested in linking people development with company CSR objectives.
She is a member of the Institute of Personnel Development and the Institute of Hospitality and has a post-graduate diploma in management studies, a Hospitality Training Foundation training diploma and an Institute of Leadership management certificate in business coaching.
