David Deegan

David has over 12 years experience within the field of learning and development. Most recently, this has focused on providing government-funded support to employers and learning providers aiming to move forward their diversity and inclusion agendas. Prior to that, David worked with a wide range of private sector organisations, delivering a variety of training including customer service and communication skills.
As well as his extensive experience in the area of diversity and inclusion, which includes disability and race awareness, David is also a highly skilled strategy facilitator. In addition, he has worked with clients in the areas of partnering and networking.
David has a BSc in Pharmacology, a Certificate of Management Studies and a Diploma in Training Management (ITD). He is a Key Skills Practitioner Deliverer and also holds a Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health.
When not working, David enjoys looking after his pet snakes - specially selected because they don't mind him being away from home for a couple of nights every week. He also relaxes by playing his cello - both at home and as part of a Manchester amateur orchestra.
