Institute of the Motor Industry
Academee is an approved centre of the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI), the professional association for individuals employed in the motor industry and the leading awarding body for qualifications in the automotive sector. Academee delivers the Certificate and Diploma in Automotive Retail Management, one of the Automotive Retail Management Standards (ARMS) and a motor industry-specific qualification encompassing all aspects of business planning, management and decision-making, designed to improve individual and company performance.
The Certificate and Diploma in Automotive Retail Management have been developed by leading industry stakeholders in partnership with Automotive Skills, the sector skills council for the retail motor industry. The qualifications are jointly awarded by the Chartered Management Institute and the IMI.
Academee delivers both as blended programmes incorporating a series of one-hour elearning modules, face to face workshops and online assessments, all supported by coaching. The flexibility of elearning allows managers working in the automotive sector to incorporate learning into their busy work schedules.
Academee has a long and successful history of working in the motor industry, with clients including Daewoo, Ford and Peugeot, with whom we won a Personnel Today award for a groundbreaking programme of leadership for Peugeot dealers.
